An inexpensive data backup system offering unlimited on-line encrypted data backup, per computer. Often added as a secondary backup due to its ability to retain serial copies of your data indefinitely. Please note that this is not a whole of server backup and only backs up what it is setup to. It should not backup a live database therefore your database must be set to backup independently, usually overnight, with these files then backed up. A system should be setup to ensure these backups remain working.

Risk profile

In the event of a disaster removing your local systems, your data is available in the cloud as per the last backup completed, usually the night before the disaster. The data will need to be downloaded from the cloud and restored and setup to a repaired, replaced or loaned server.

Backup Location

This is a "cloud" based system. However in our case we specify that the data is stored in multiple locations in Australia (and nowhere else).

Backup Schedule

By default, backups happen when files change and are triggered every 15 minutes.
Due to limited bandwidth, we may restrict the hours or the bandwidth available to the backup.

 Backup Retention

This is a file based backup so retention is based on versions of files.
